Get Beached With Me!

When I ask most people I know how they love to relax, they inevitably respond with spending a day getting beached.

Truth is, I don’t know many people who hate the beach! What’s not to love about clear blue waters, the feel of warm sand in between your toes, and infinite sunshine beating down on your skin? I have always found comfort and excitement in spending time by the waters, whether it’s with my family or with my friends.

What’s even more wonderful is that the sunny Philippines is home to so many beautiful beaches, both well-known and yet to be discovered! I’ve visited some of the most popular beaches in Asia, but I always keep coming back home.

Beached on the Metro Channel

This is why I’m so excited to share my new show called Beached, airing on the Metro Channel! As a bona fide beach lover, it is my honor to explore all the beautiful coasts that are found in the Philippines. Together with one of my best friends, Marc Nelson, we’ve been making our way around the country for the first season to show you the best beaches our country has to offer.

So far, we’ve been to Boracay, Cebu, Coron, and Pagudpud. While we do show you what you can eat, what you can do, and where you can stay in these beaches, we’re more than just a travel show. We want to show you a glimpse of what makes each of these beach towns unique from the others.

Through Beached, we want to be able to promote responsible tourism. It’s not all about enjoying fun in the sun. It’s also about being conscious of the environment.  This is so that we’re able to preserve our natural resources to enjoy for many more years to come. In doing so, we are also giving locals a livelihood that is sustainable.

More episodes to come

It’s been so long since I’ve been on TV, but I feel right at home in a bikini. 🙂 With my buddy Marc, we hope to make a difference while serving up some beautiful landscapes and beachscapes.

Check out the first episode of Beached that we shot in Boracay, which is currently undergoing some much-needed rehabilitation. More clips are found on the Metro Channel YouTube page.

Beached airs on Saturdays at 9 p.m. There are replays on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. / Thursdays at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. / Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. The Metro Channel is on Sky Cable Channel 52. We hope to inspire you to take a much-needed trip and visit these slices of tropical paradise! If there are underrated beaches you know of that you think we should explore, please leave me a comment. We’ll do our best to get to it!
